Renate lectures on various genealogy topics but specialize in teaching beginning to intermediate research methodology and sharing specific techniques and resources for researching ancestors of color – pre- and post-Emancipation.
Our class selections include Choctaw and Chickasaw Freedmen, Widows of the Civil War, Tracing African American Ancestors Records Through Slave Holding Families, FamilySearch African American Research, The Great African American Migration, and many more.
Once again we’re able to maintain the registration fee at only $12. Hurry and take advantage of this great price. Registration provides you with full access to all classes, an electronic syllabus, and entry into drawing for door prizes.
